The MEGA CQ25R gives hunters one compact thermal platform for scanning, hands-free observation and multiple rifle setups. Its wide 25 mm view is well suited to timber, brush and close-to-mid-range predator or hog hunting.

Configure it as a handheld, helmet-mounted device, standalone thermal scope or front clip-on
Use the integrated laser rangefinder for fast distance checks
Run a replaceable 18650 battery for simple field power management

Best for: Hunters who want one 640 thermal device that can move between observation and mounted use.

Included mounting components

Every MEGA CQ25R includes all four of the following components:

ZT-AC02 quick-release base
ZT-AC0215CQ 1.5-inch riser
ZT-AC0217CQ 1.7-inch riser
ZT-AC02DV dovetail adapter

Both risers are included. Choose the appropriate configuration for your setup.

640 thermal detail

A 640 thermal platform pairs a 25 mm F0.9 lens with sub-18 mK thermal sensitivity to reveal temperature differences across a scene.

Image processing helps bring out detail for observation. Visibility and identification depend on distance, weather and the surrounding terrain.

A generous 1.03-inch OLED view

A large 1.03-inch OLED display and generous eyebox make it easier to find a comfortable viewing position across handheld and mounted setups.

Adjust focus and display settings to suit the scene and your configuration.

Pre-Zero for your day optic

Pre-Zero is part of the MEGA CQ25R Clip-on setup for a compatible day optic. Use the correct adapter and follow the optical alignment and setup guidance for your configuration, then confirm zero before use.

Resize the UI to suit your scope

In Clip-on mode, open the Quick Menu and adjust Menu Size to scale the menus and status data to suit your day optic’s magnification.

This helps keep the interface in view with higher starting magnifications, including 5× setups. Watch the short demo to see the interface shrink and expand.

MEGA CQ25R · BALLISTIC CALCULATOR

Set up in the app. Use BC in the field.

MEGA CQ25R supports ballistic calculation (BC) with app-configured profiles and its integrated laser rangefinder. Set up your ballistic data in ZSYNC, save it to the device, and view a calculated reference alongside measured distance.

Configure in ZSYNC

Connect MEGA to the app, open Ballistic Calculation, and enter the parameters for your selected profile.

Save to MEGA

Save the profile in the app to transfer it to the device. Reconnect whenever you need to update its parameters.

Range with BC

Select the saved profile on MEGA. The integrated rangefinder supplies distance for the on-device ballistic calculation.

Select the correct saved profile and verify your setup before use. Available displays and controls depend on device mode and firmware.

Quick-detach mounting system

Every CQ25R includes the ZT-AC02 quick-release base, both the ZT-AC0215CQ 1.5-inch and ZT-AC0217CQ 1.7-inch risers, and the ZT-AC02DV dovetail adapter. ZT-AC03 and ZT-AC02CQ are optional accessories sold separately.
